This means your only connection for news feeds and previews is to MyOwnSite. For employers tracking internet usage, it's often better to show visits to a single site than to 10's or 100's simply because you're viewing a few news articles....

They load very quickly, and often times give enough information that you don't end up having to visit the website the article is actually from....

Bookmarks Enhancement - from MyOwnSite :: Enhancements
Posted by Bill Minton on 02/05/07Adding and removing Bookmarks no longer requires reloading the site. Simply add or delete a Bookmarks, and the module will refresh itself....

Posted by Bill Minton on 02/04/07All module activity is now done via the [+ Add New Modules] link at the top right corner of the site.
There are many feeds pre-populated in dropdown boxes for you to choose from, relating to news, sports, recipes, entertainment, etc. Simply choose the one you wish to add and click the Add button.
Bookmarks, Weather, and other module additions are handled there as well. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think of the updates....

Mini-overhaul - from MyOwnSite :: Enhancements
Posted by Bill Minton on 02/02/07MyOwnSite has undergone what can only be described as a mini-overhaul. From a high level, here's what's been improved/added:
1) Large portions of the code have been cleaned up
It's still not as tidy as I'd like it to be, but a bunch of legacy code has been removed and some of the remaining code has been made more efficient.
2) Rearranged layout
All of the add-content boxes have been moved from the bottom of the pages to the top, and subsequently hidden. To add modules, rename tabs, mass-move m...
